Dr. Tracy has loved and worked with animals his entire life. He grew up on a farm in Gates county North Carolina, and began working in the veterinary field at the age of 16; upon graduating from high school he knew he would become a veterinarian. He excelled in his undergraduate studies at North Carolina State University, and graduated from veterinary school there in 1997. He began his professional career in a mixed animal practice in Hertford county North Carolina. In 1998 his lifelong dream was realized with the opening of Moyock Animal Hospital. When not working he enjoys, fishing, flying, and spending time with his rambunctious black lab Elly and his cat Captain Britches. Dr. Tracy is caring, compassionate, and always ready to provide the best care for your four-legged family members.
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
Dr. Kim has been an animal lover her entire life, she was four years old when she started saying she wanted to be a Veterinarian when she grew up. She is a North Carolina native, originally from Durham. Dr. Kim attended North Carolina State University for undergraduate school receiving a degree in animal science then went straight into vet school also at North Carolina State University, graduating in 2010. Her first year after graduation Dr. Kim worked at a busy small animal practice in Gates County North Carolina, then she moved with her Navy husband to Jacksonville Florida where she worked in a busy small animal community practice. Dr. Kim has been working at Moyock Animal Hospital since November 2014 and loves being back in North Carolina as a resident of Moyock! She has a special love for feline medicine having worked for many years at a feline only practice while going through school. When not at work Dr. Kim is a very busy military wife, Mom and Stepmom with four children, two dogs and three cats at home. If she had time for hobbies she would enjoy water skiing, snow skiing, and traveling with her family.
Licensed Technician
Tiffany has been part of the Moyock Animal Hospital team since the summer of 2000. She did her preliminary biology studies at James Madison University and then transferred to Blue Ridge Community College’s Veterinary Technology program. She graduated with her degree in 2004. She aced the national board exam and has been working as the hospital’s LVT (licensed veterinary technician) ever since. She works closely with Dr. Tracy, providing complete care for your pet! When not at the clinic, she enjoys fishing, boating, camping and scrapbooking. Her furry friends include 3 dogs (Roxie, WeeMan, and Cougie) and 2 cats (Muffy, and Mufasa). She is more than willing to help at any given time, so don’t hesitate to call on her if needed!
